Southwest Library Mural

This mural is located inside the Southwest Library in Bakersfield, CA. The design features letters and shapes flowing from an open book to represent themes such as reading, imagination, technology, music and the local landscape. Designed to work within the current architecture, this mural is prominently seen in the youth section of the library, but can also be viewed from different perspective from the stairs and second floor as individual murals, or one cohesive piece.
